You still have to meet those qualifications to start off - there will be plenty of people wanting a 300k/year job, and most of those will have experience in a financial field. Note how it says OR PhD graduates - they would much rather have experience with an analytic mastermind who has already proven themselves. This isn't even mathematic-specific too - they're looking for any analytical, statistical field like CS or even electrical engineering.
So good for you, but this is an initial greeting letter. You've got a long way to go. And from my experience with family members who work in finance (my cousin works at an incredibly competitive stock market firm or something in California, she makes about 200k 3 years in, and she only got the job since my uncle is the CFO of a billion-dollar company) burnout is very, very high.
