Hello /sci/, do you think an aircraft could be made using a vertically vibrating/oscillating plate full of check valves? On the downstroke the valves would close and so "pull" the aircraft up into the air, while on the upstroke the valves would open to minimize the resistance. Does that seem viable or would the difference in up and down pressure be way too small?
