Op you are right the chance is is 1/2 without this extra rule:
The human is programmed like
>>11183083Anon said, badly
You now have a two choices.
Choice (a) picking one door (1/3)
Or picking choice (b) which is picking (2/3) doors.
But everyone is actully wrong because it assumes he always follows this rule, but he sometimes bluffs.
And further more they are still wrong becuase the it is actully 1/2.
Proven by the fact that your first choice DOES NOT effect the odds of the second choice, if you roll a coin a 1000 times to pick a door. 50% of the time the coin would be the correct door and 50% of the time the coin would be wrong door.
50/5o odds, deal with it retards. Propbiltiy is a junk science,
>>11183112Yes yes, but you are wrong. Your first choice is 1/1000 yes. But now you get a new dice roll. The new dice roll is 1in2. It is not (a) 1 door (b) 999 doors. The other doors have been removed from the game and it is now a new game, as far as math is concerned. Deal with it. You have two choices, two, two doors, two choices 50/50. the previous reveal does not tell you anything useful now. And what your door pick was in the last round is also useles information.
Don’t think of it as staying or changing, that’s not how the math works, think of it as a new cold pick, because that is how the math works
The only way this works is if they never open doors if you picked a winner, but that is not part of the Monty hall problem .
>>11180885That’s becuase you are not regarded.d
