I find the voices in my head soothing and comfy, but sometimes I'm unable to sleep when my head is stormed by indecipherable voices.

the meds work really well actually. No more auditory or visual hallucinations. No more delusions (as far as I know, they're still present but taken the backseat).

I wish there would be a med for the negative symptoms cause those are really fucking awful

I can't achieve much much psychosis. I want to just connect electrical circuit and it seems impossible.

After ECT I cannot even thinks of I want to really do, because it pains.

Whether you're crazy when you're having an episode isn't the worry, I think, but whether your more lucid periods are getting dumbed down by side effects of the drugs. Mine at the very least make me tired all the time, that has to negatively affect my cognitive performance.

That's been debunked a lot. His best art was at the times when he was getting help. If his best art was when he was out and about actively schizo you'd have a point.

It's also basically the only argument schizos have to avoid getting help and it's as bullshit as flat Earth so I get why y'all won't let it go.

I would be alternately well for periods of time, and out of my head likewise. When I wasn't crazy I was productive. These days I'm almost never crazy but also almost never productive, just lethargic and vaguely depressed all the time. That's not necessarily only because of the meds, of course, and I wouldn't trade back.

another schizo anon here. i'm on meds (too). overall they're fine, neither good nor bad. i have written 180,000 words in my journal over the last 3 years and composed about 30 minutes of music. the idea of productivity is bullshit. i don't want to help the rich get richer and the poor stay poor. i don't officially work but i create and produce. i am on disability. i think there should be a basic income and i'm justified in receiving what i receive.

I got 4 of 5 of the diagnostic symptoms. All I‘m missing is the bad paranoia. Sure, I have to double check if I locked the door when I leave the house, but the voices were always friendly to me. They tell me I‘m a beloved child of god. I am highly functional and have a very boosted creativity in the manic phases. I work as an artist and do my best stuff when I‘m mad.

I'm a schizo. Atypical antipsychotics (Aripiprazole) started out doing nothing but now do something, with minimal side effects that I'm capable of discerning.

In 2014 I started hearing a voice. In 2016 I got expelled from school for related issues. Then this happened: https://postsyntheticsocietalproject.wordpress.com/2018/08/12/yoko-taro-is-a-dragon-from-the-future/

Now I'm working full time and living independently. Still slightly symptomatic but much less so.
