Hi sci,
currently preparing next chemistry lecture. There is one task that doesn't really make any sense to me. I had to determine the ph value of HF, HCl, HBr and HI.
The second task was to answer why the acidity increases from HF to _IF_. Is there a reason? Because I think my Prof just made a typo and wated to ask for HF to HI, because that would also corelate with the order of the ph-value task. I can't ask him anymore because it's in the evening already and he probably won't respond till tomorrows lecture.
The increase of acidity from HF to HI would be due to the diameter of the halogenes, right?
