>>11177153A better question would be "Is there good reason to believe that watching porn at a young age affects brain development negatively". A lot of people will bring up how it rushes your brain with dopamine but so does exercise, eating food, buying something, playing videogames, hugging your pet, etc..
The brain is complicated and simple rules like "heavy dopamine rushes are bad for you" just don't account for the nuances of our biology. Unfortunately, the only examples of people who weren't exposed to porn at young ages tend to be people like indigenous aboriginals or other groups of people who don't have a lot of access to modern media. There upbringing is so different that you can't really control for all the factors.
I can't tell you if it's bad for your brain because I don't know. The thing is you probably don't either unless you have access to some evidence that people don't. I'm personally skeptical as a lot of the concern around porn comes from more anti-sex religious-cultural roots. A lot of the people who were worried about porn in the past were also the ones saying weed was going to make you hang out with black people and the devil and eventually kill you, so not a great track record of truth. Still, it's completely possible. My advice is to not worry about it until you have good reason to.
