>>11174901This conspiracy wouldn't work because it would require the US and USSR to work together when it would've been more beneficial for one of them to expose the hoax to humiliate the other. Such a conspiracy required to make both of these countries work together like this for decades would be so large that someone on the inside would've exposed it all by now. Much less the thousands of engineers on the Apollo project who would have to know crucial details of the conspiracy to make their part of the cover up. Not to mention private companies who pay money to have their satellites be put into orbit.
On top of that. The physics of rocketry are well understood and studied even by independent researchers and amateurs. If somehow the engines of the Saturn V couldn't lift it off the pad, then it would have been figured out and exposed a long time ago. Also, wreckage of spent Saturn stages have been recovered and they are exactly what is expected if they were actual rockets rather than balloons.
Look, Apollo happened decades ago. It happened. There's solid evidence that it happened. Deal with it.
