If there's a 50/50 chance of death, Schrodinger calls the cat "alive and dead", since we can't know which one.
It's supposed to be an analogy for quantum superposition.
Outside of imagination, the cat is still either alive or dead.
Let's say there's a 80% chance the cat will not die.
Quantum nerds would say it is more alive than dead. It's 80% alive, and 20% dead.
But it's actually only one.
