I think it important to note that any scientific understanding of human longevity does not give a human an excuse to commit bad behavior.
100 years from now a human that gets regular exercise, doesn't smoke, drink, or do other drugs and eats properly is still going to live longer than those that don't.
For example how are your teeth?
Do you brush and floss regularly with a non-whitening fluoride tooth paste, like Colgate total?
Do you know about the new mHAP (Japanese) toothpastes that can rebuild enamel?
Sure it isn't immortality but oral health is a big thing, especially if you want your teeth to last 100 or more years.
