Is it possible for a brainlet to get good at math (engineer level)?
Im a codemonkey neet now and want to enroll in a cs degree programme in 7 months but my current math skills are abysmal

Maybe don't go for a cs degree if you don't feel like you're good at math...?
But if you must, take advantage of any resources you do have. Like tutoring, visiting teacher office hours, etc.

Your math really doesn't have to be very good to get a cs degree at a normal college unless you want to go for masters or above

Lately I've been thinking about going into aerospace engineering. Should I apply my degree to that field? How good would my math have to be there?

my problem is since secondary school I always have some ridiculous anxiety in regards to math because I bombed a few exams

now everytime I open up a math textbook I get flashbacks about my fails and im really starting to doubt my skills, my brain goes into a you shouldnt even try it lol mode and I immiediatly loose motivation which is rather sad

easily. anyone of nominal intelligence can do differential equations.
solidworks does everything for you anyway.

My thing was, I did really good in math (all subjects actually; I was in gifted) throughout elementary school, but when I got to middle school, I suffered a personal tragedy, which triggered a very deep depression in me that lasted for years, which made the sudden jump to algebra and geometry much, much harder for me due to not functioning as well cognitively as I could have.

Most CS degrees in the US are watered down to the point where a complete brainlet (literally 110IQ) could do them, the only math involved is basic lower division material. Aka there is no math involved, only rote computation that you can get good at by brute force and practice alone.
