>>11170870Well, I'm sure you have some old books from Gymnasium. But those tend to be quite shit. If you're looking to see if it's your thing I would recommend to start small. You need one book on linear algebra and one on analysis. Then, if you like solving maths problems, you can start with more advanced stuff. I am not too familiar with german books since I usually read English authors. However, I can recommend "Analysis für Ingenieure, Mathematiker und Physiker" from Kimmerle and Stroppel. Regarding the engineering degree, Nolting's series "Grundkurs Theoretische Physik" is excellent for self study. Have fun, anon.
