This might be a stupid question but this thought crossed my mind when I was at work, working with acids and bases.
Would it be possible to have a similar reaction, like acids and bases, when a toxic agent would react with a "counter-agent", which would cancel out the effects of the toxic agent? Of course the energy would have to disperse in another way, but would it be possible?
