I think a good professor should appreciate students who put in effort, even if they are not the brightest. But you shouldn't give a single shred of sympathy for fuckers that don't even try, regardless of how innately talented they could be (typical of the chuuni type).
By the way, I'm an undergrad right now. Am I annoying? When the teacher asks a question, I'm generally one of the only people always raising my hand. I just like to show that I am participating, and I generally do have a solution or a close to working solution when I raise my hand. But sometimes it feels like professors are sick of me.
