>>11163863Surely the real axis is more of a space and numbers are just what we use to quantify it, sure primes may be useful in some ways but when it comes down to no number can be more 'real' than another. It seems strange to ignore that all integers come from counting rather than multiplication.
All numbers being able to be made from the product of primes is seemingly dwarfed by the fact that all numbers can be made from the sum of any two numbers or even just a long sum of ones.
