There's two things you have to do.
1. Develop coping mechanisms to work around the problems that ADHD presents you with. The first step to this is understanding ADHD. Lots of resources out there, go find them.
2. Learn to *leverage* hyperfocus, which is one of the features of ADHD. If you can find ways to make anything/everything interesting to you, then hyperfocus comes into play, and it's almost like you get a boost to your IQ.
Also get lots of exercise, especially endurance-based exercise. I'm a lot happier since I took up cycling competitively.
You don't have to feel like you're 'broken' because you have ADHD. You're just wired differently, and that doesn't mean 'bad'.
