How original was Satoshi? Did he sort of just copy paste Ralph merkle's invention? Was anything like bitcoin attempted before but Satoshi was the first to finally make it work or was the idea totally made up by Satoshi? Is bitcoin really a grand invention or are all the scientists out there like damn it why didn't I think of that?
