This demonstration can easily be done with the laser pointer and sugar water that's been allowed to sit.
Any medium that allows light to pass-through and has a gradient identity will bend light and its path.
Our sun only bends light at the arm of the Photosphere.
Is this not a proof that the sun is made of condensed matter rather than having the same density throughout?
The sun has no gravitational lensing.
