>>11160041Assuming you're into maths, people like you (if you're actually a midwit, i.e. incapable of having great insights or deep productive thought) have a great opportunity in maths to do really valuable work that nobody else wants to do. That is, you can formally write up a lot of contemporary mathematics into proof assistant like lean. A lot of pioneering work has been done in this area in the past few years, and you can join in (perfectoid spaces have been recently formally defined). There is a LOT of work to be done in this area, it's very important, and geniuses don't want to do it because they'd rather work on their own research.
Another option is go the Halmos way - he himself admitted that he wasn't smart enough to have meaningful insights in mathematics, so he focused on pedagogy and wrote a lot of nice books on mathematics.
