Salts of Amphetamine act as releasing agents of Norepinephrine and dopamine. The general subjective effects are stimulation/alertness, Thought Acceleration, Euphoria (&cognitive euphoria), Tachycardia, diuresis, and appetite suppression. At least, these are the effects I find most prevalent with the drug. On a decent dose, even complex work seems marginally more intuitive and I find it much easier to maintain a coherent train of thought; As someone who drifts into retarded tangents of random ass thoughts, this helps a lot. As someone who enjoys a good bump every once in a while, I find myself snorting Amphetamine a lot, which is unideal considering its intranasal bioavailability. Because of this, I’ve been starting to prefer Ritalin (methylphenidate) as it diffuses much more readily into intranasal capillaries. Ritalin varies from Adderall in mechanism of action (as a reputable inhibitor) but shares the same general effects (roughly). Maybe I’m just a junkie, maybe a college student, maybe both. Maybe they’re the same thing. Who knows. Nothing means anything and we’re all going to die
