Mostly large and unusually shaped rocks, much like terrestrial geological beauty. Unless you can confidently say there isn't a single geological feature in the system worth preserving, it's obviously not a literally 100.0...% one-sided issue. I would at least have to consider things before I ordered the Von Neumann swarm to convert every rocky planet into bricks for space habitats.

Yes, a million times yes, they're dead and we have a responsibility to bring life to them.

The only person I've ever heard support the idea that it's unethical was a teacher I had, who said that terraforming a planet was "imposing our will on nature" and that "we have no right to defile the natural landscape of Mars".
It was a female professor, just FYI.
