We watched it slowly shrink into the stars. I said, "So, we just saw that, right?" I got six or seven, "yup"s in reply and nobody said shit else. Never talked about it and years later mentioned to my brother. (Don't remember.) tried to get back up from cousin. (Don't remember.) I drove to nine different houses that night so, I think my brain was working.

Do you remember what kind of a mood or state you were in that day, did you guys tell any ghost stories or did you think of anything spooky or similar? The reason I'm asking is because the day I saw a guy disappear right in front of me, I was with a buddy, we both saw it (and talked about it later), it was dark, and we had been going around like, I'm not sure how to describe it, but like we were in a mood for mystery. I guess, if you've ever walked home alone through a dark forest as a kid, which I often did, you can get pretty spooked. Something similar to that, but not like we were afraid. And I'm speculating that we somehow made the thing up, and now I remember it as if it really happened. I have no memory of us making up anything either. It's a real memory to me, so I don't know.

And yeah stories like these aren't really /sci/ content I guess, but it's relevant and I don't wanna go to /x/, try having a serious conversation without superstition on there.
