Watching lecture on Planck satellite that measure the most accurate CMB.
During the lecture they say they chose only one channel and filtered it to produce their CMB map.
Specifically the 143 gigahertz Channel.
Does anyone know of a source of what that cleaning process consisted of?
The lecture just use the word cleaned and moved on.
