But the point stands that East Asians either have more or comparable Neanderthal DNA to Europeans, but do not have huge brow ridges, giant noses, long craniums, or the other features people sometimes associate with Neanderthal DNA. The fact of the matter is that strong brows were a common trait in early Homo Sapiens, even if not at the level of Neanderthals, that got reduced over time and to varying degrees in different people and populations. A strong brow thus isn't an indicator of Neanderthal ancestry. Neither are other robust features, as Homo Sapiens began as far more robust than the average man alive now and became more gracile over time. Robust features just means being less gracilized.
I'm not saying that Neanderthal DNA doesn't contribute to morphology at all, but there's enough variation in the base Homo Sapiens DNA that it'd be difficult to distinguish in most cases. I think Neanderthal genes have been connected to longer skulls before, but Africans have a greater tendency towards long skulls than Europeans despite having next to no Neanderthal DNA.
