How can infinity = -1/12 if 1-1+1-1+1... doesn't actually equal 1/2? It's either 1 or 0, and extending it to infinity doesn't magically make it 1/2, it makes it either 1 or 0, but you don't know because you are making it invalid by extending a sequence to a point which doesn't even fucking exist in the first place. Extending to infinity is the same as saying 1-1+1 or 1-1 you don't know which point it will end on but it's still either 1 or 0.

apparently I saw some guy use this as "evidence" that 1+2+3+4 = -1/12 but that's nonsense lol.
