Is it possible to learn the first two years of introductory CompSci courses in my free time? I'm 3 years into my Chemistry program and I've only just realized how bleak my future is, so I was thinking of doing CS as a second degree and finish the upper level stuff in two years. Seeing all these job openings for CS grads and companies hiring CS interns left and right is really making me jelly when I think about that I still have another 5 years of grad school to go through and already feeling burn out working towards an uncertain future for a dead industry. I've also seen a lot of Chembros switch fields to IT/CS, so anyone else here in the same boat?
