obviously berkeley is the best, closely followed by ucla. ucsd and ucsb are probably fine.
i'm at berkeley and it's great. tough, but really wonderful classes, very rigorous. no one holds your hand, so you'd better develop good work ethic and time management.

UC Berkeley and UCLA are the best. But as a non-California resident, your chances of getting into those schools are super tough. You should probably look into schools like UCSD, UCI, and UCSB, which are still good in their own respect
