Most theoretical stuff is explained in a very, very abstract way. Meaning you will likely not understand what you're reading, because the only ones who have a clue what it is about are people who already know it. This phenomenon occurs probably because only true extreme autists write stuff about maths on wikipedia.

I'm in third year pure math/physics, and I'm finding I'm starting to understand Wikipedia articles better and better. Also, I can always fall down some rabbit hole. I just wonder if the rabbit hole is escapable.

Wikipedia often has biased editors that typically will use descriptions not found in their sources to promote or undermine certain ideas over others. Omissions on subjects are common. Sometimes Wikipedia is useful but it is not something you can use to educate yourself on a subject to a confident degree
