i've got a unique specimen, but the data is normal and unexciting no matter how i break it down.
clearly i'm retarded and i just don't understand how to design a proper study.
advisor telling me just write the paper and submit it, don't worry if the results are unexciting shit, just publish. in other words, he's given up on me and i should just publish to meet the graduation requirement and gtfo.

what now, /sci/? are there any decent writings on the theory of designing a study? any suggestions (apart from "an hero and livestream it")?
