>>11148065I firstly understood it at school because I could achieve good grades without studying much, mainly because I was keeping attention in class and understood most stuff without much effort. I never went to a university and study a STEM field because of certain reasons (economic, familly, never really wanted an office job or live in the city) and ended up being a skipper, as I had practised sailing since young and had the connections. At my work I have travelled with many succesful people, many doctors, lawers, professors etc and I saw that even though they were smart people (most might be A LOT smarter than me), many don't possess a practical mind, like how to trim the sails, how other ships travel and understandment of relative motion, how the wind affects your course etc. In general intelligence is something that can't be defined precisely, that's what my experience has shown me.
