here's a question: where's the east asian block of points? it could be in the (0.02, -0.03, -0.02) region, but it could just as plausibly be in the (-0.03, 0.01, -0.08) region, in a completely different part of the plot. it's a complete fucking guess where that blob is in 3d space unless you have a device window open as you're looking at the plot and can rotate the plot (or if there's lines dropped like i said before).
data plots should be Usable Figures, first and foremost, and 2d projections of 3d figures are the opposite of usable 99% of the time
