Why aren't neutrinos the prime suspects for dark matter? A typical average mass galaxy is in an "ocean" of neutrinos. Surely billions of stars pumping out these little bastards all the time has to add up, no?

the issue is that these large scale structure simulations disfavor hot/ warm dark matters: dark matter needs to be thermally cold

I cant remember, but I dont think they are a significant part of the mass budget of the Universe
