I was thinking about how they make artificial gems and it got me thinking about how they can tell the difference between 2100PSI and 2200PSI. But when I tried to look it up, basically all I got was sites trying to sell me shit.

Anyone know how they accurately measure such high pressures? (I'll bet it has something to do with lasers,all the best science has lasers.)
