Possible thing to be is that companies that track people and posses ultimate deep learning powers and recognition are probably way more efficient at gathering technologies or manufacturing in expensive factories.
I don't know why they need so much data for marketing, to suck every penny, there are better ways in almost any cooperation game, than waving with some paper or integer at server.
