Are any process engineers currently here? In our last experiment we sieved one sample of grounded coffee with a sieve stack and the other sample with jet sieving. What are the benifits of each for that specific example.

Jet sieving is obviously labour costly because you always need someone to change the sieves, whereas the stack sieves can be left alone.
Also the coffee beens release small amounts of oil when cracked up, thus leading to the grounded coffee to form clumps. The jet sieve on the other had can seperate the clumps because of air pressure. What other advantages or disadvantages does each have?
