I need to pass an IQ score for a job I want. Does practicing IQ tests make you score higher or is that a wasted effort?

You can prepare for a specific type of IQ test, but if they really wanted to know how smart you were they'd apply several different types of tests.

afaik prop shops fucking ask you to take SAT style tests when you're there but IQ tests seem unreliable

I have heard about some services excluding anyone with high IQ. But that's more of a hearsay.
