About ten years ago a Russian engineer who used to work on oil rigs said to me oil is not as rare as people think it is. He said to me that oil fields quickly replenish themselves in only a matter of a few years.
At the time I thought he was you know how engineers can be, they sometimes "bro science" a thing & turn it into fact. So I just went alone with it & turned the discussion into thought experiment on how that would effect our world. I put it out of my mind until recently.
So far this year tens of Billions of barrels of oil have been found all across the world in almost the exact same place the oil companies have drilled for oil before.
Now it is highly like that they on purpose didnt report the real oil deposit reverses in these areas to hike the price of oil, that is the most likely what happened.... but!
Is there any scientific theory's or evidence that would explain "replenishing oil deposits?"
All comments are welcome, thank you!
