the 4th dimension you are talking about is one where you move by will through it. imagine two rooms, one has a door and one has a window. all these rooms occupy the same 3d space yet how do they all exist in the same space? they are in different 4 dimensional locations, being able to walk from a room with a window to a room with a door without changing 3d location is what you think of as the 4th dimension. to imagine the fifth dimension, think of what time would look like in the 4th dimension and go through the same thought process.
one thing that i think is completely fucking retarded and pushed by tons of physicists is that there are like 12 dimensions in the world but we only occupy 3. imagine if a 2d being was in a 3d space, the guts of the 2d being would fall out of it and into multiple other 2d planes of the 3rd dimension, same with us. thats why if there are 12 dimensions we have to occupy all of them or have some sort of barrier that we cant pass through or else we would just fall out. unless for some reason we cant move through them, which is completely fucking retarded.
