>>11129855It depends on how much you actually want to learn. If your course is just about matrix computations you'll be fine with any engineer textbook shilled at degree windmills. You could even skip the book altogether and learn from YT videos, even. But if you're e.g. a math major whose linear algebra course leads directly to a further course on abstract algebra, then I'd recommend Hoffman/Kunze's Linear Algebra. Never gets old.
