That worldview being part of the indoctrination to that religion. it's one of the reasons why religions in general have been successful and cultivating large number of people together under a shared worldview which leads to larger societies.
the modern challenge is how do you get people onto the same worldview and value creation system when they are coming from different perspectives in life. Because certainly you're not going to be able to convince everyone of your religion unless you go on some sort of large-scale Conquest like many of the previous religions did in order to get their start or like the Romans adopt the religion for an already conquered people.
when you understand this fact it starts become easy to explain why very philosophical societies use different mental tricks like Divination in order to begin debates in their society.
For example the Etruscans had divination system of casting lots. Since they all believe that was a good starting point they chose a random thing appointed by the gods or luck to begin a debate. That would be there shared worldview and starting point but then they would argue the interpretation of its meaning.
This is also the power behind memes as it consolidates groups together even if interpretations become varied.
