Anyone know of large scale analyses of CCTV and other surveilence cameras applied to criminology. I would have imagined with the plethora of open source video sites hosting crime videos there'd be some kind of large analysis, but I cannot seem to find any. It would be interested to see how the breakdown of crimes caught on cameras correlate with conviction (more or less gun crime, more or less crime committed by males, more or less crime committed by race, more or less false identification of perpetrators, etc.)
