Two wooden blocks of mass m and 2m are connected by a string with negligible mass which passes through a frictionless pulley. The blocks sit one atop another on a wood plank. The pulley is arranged at one end of the plank in such a manner that the strings are parallel to the plank. The coefficient of static friction between the blocks is ?1(subscript not coefficient), and between the block and the plank is ?2. The plank is raised at an angle with the pulley end at the top and the other end on a horizontal lab table. Determine the angle ? between the plank and the table where the blocks (see diagram). Your solution should be expressed in terms of variables and/or known constants.
