What are the next technologies that once they exist they overcome all and infest all.

I mean like things that once they exist they are so vastly superior to everything else and tend to overly reinforce themselves so much that they are basically ubiquitous. Like living in an agricultural society instead of being a nomad, or sending a mail instead of walking 100 km, or unprotected vaginal sex. All of those have several mechanisms that make it so that everyone wants it to be it the thing that happens and not the other thing never ever the other thing but yes taht.

then for example: how about a self replicating factory of factories. doesnt matter who makes it, doesnt matter why, doesnt matter if it takes 10 million dollars and one billion people to make, once its done its automatic cornucopia for all, what is the next invention like that and when? thanks
