The definition of non-existence is you being unable to measure or note the non-existing object in any way other than maybe roughly imagining it virtually. Having the object randomly materialize in front of you, which then allows you to measure it, shifts its state from non-existing to existing as the object is quite literally in front of you - it exists. Everywhere we look we can directly interact with and measure the Universe, up to creating constant laws that apply everywhere equally, so therefor this pocket of time, energy and gravity exists, i,e "reality" exists.
