So what are black holes made of?
All my life I've been living with the thought that they're an extremely dense and extremely small mass; but then I realized that, unlike neutron stars, I have no idea what that 'mass' is supposed to be. After a quick Google all I see is references to them being just a 'region of spacetime', so are they not even a physical object? Then what happens when a star collapses into a new black hole, what happens to that star's material?
