>>11123860That's easy,
Remove all recreational driving laws (also allow driving under the influence).
Remove all speed limits.
Remove all safety precautions like guard rails.
Remove all street lights.
Remove all street signs and stop lights.
Remove all lines and other painted things from the roads.
Remove & outlaw all safety devices and designs on personal vehicles.
Raise personal fuel taxes 500% (freight, public transportation, & farm equipment excluded).
Remove the cost and testing for non-freight/farm driver's licenses (anyone at any age can now drive.)
Institute better public transportation.
Institute better manual-powered-only bicycle transportation routes.
Replace as many trunk-line roads with public-transportation-only transportation.
Institute business segregation so that businesses must be more spread out into areas to keep commute times low.
Now all the stupid people and their slug spawn will get themselves killed. Sure it will be pretty fucking terrible for the first 5-10 years, but after they die off or wise up things will get much better. Smart people will use bike routes and public transportation. The amount of infrastructure maintenance money saved would be fucking astounding, which would go back into other forms of road infrastructure maintenance and the public transportation.
>>11123900If everything were automated then most accidents would be AI error. So, using statistics to make such a sweeping statement isn't a good discussion point really. I'm not saying automation is a bad thing, just get better discussion points that can't be easily torn down.
