>>11124286>Science will always flourish on the right, the same cant be said for the liberals who are hellbent on only allowing for science that supports globohomo warming and other sects of pseudoscienceAmerica's biggest science project, the Manhattan Project itself, was operated by literal communists and socialists within FDR's New Dealer cabinet. The same cabinet that five years previously had been told to stop trying to pack the Supreme Court full of communists. The same cabinet that shot Huey Long. Same can be said of America's use of nuclear power: that was an LBJ program that sustained itself until Carter who created the modern Dept of Energy.
Except for Eisenhower, the right has only ever offered scientists layoffs and budget cuts. Case in point: Reagan's successful murdering of American nuclear energy and Newt Gringrich's murdering of the Desertron. Both were celebrated as victories for financial restraint, even under the Bush 2 admin who had no problems diverting cash to christian groups give free shit to black people (a thing the current VP is also doing).
One also only has to look at Mexico's successive military governments to see why the far right in general can't do science: the military commanders and cops in the government keep stealing the money. This was a problem Mussolini had too, only Franco was moderately successful in this regard and largely due to his laxer policies on communists (some amnesty as opposed to helicopter rides and ditches) postwar.
