How can one say that math is invented, when there seem to be inherent facts, such as that the only complete, algebraically closed, commutative, finite dimension division algebra are the complex numbers?
But then again, how can one say that math is discovered, when we sometimes rely so heavily on seemingly arbitrary choices and definitions?
Are our brains just hardwired to intuit math (e.g. Goldbach conjecture, Collatz conjecture, Riemann hypothesis), but language has become the barrier to entry?
If that's the case, are mathematicians in fact sharp linguists?
