Scientific discussion of the effects of hormonal injections: This post belongs here.
So the hypothalamus and pituitary gland control how much testosterone the testes produce and secrete. The main horomone which signals the testes to produce testosterone is Luteinizing hormone (LH)
If I were to receive an injection of Luteinizing hormone, wouldn't my testosterone levels grow along with my testes as they would produce more? Surely, there would be no side effects to this, right?
The reason I ask this is because testosterone injections cause the testes to wither and grow smaller in size due to lack of use. With injections of LH, the testes should grow in size due to use, logically.
Thoughts? I'm no scientist, simply asking if it's even possible, or why it's not recommended.
