Idk the difference between calc 3 and vector calc, I think my course merged those since I did multivariable calculus and vector valued functions and stuff like stokes and divergence theorem.
I would say do exercises and be able to evaluate integrals well. Be familiar with manipulating exponential expressions and doing algebra stuff like partial fractions - those tend to be things I had to focus on when solving diff eqs to get the proper solution form.
