What's the verdict on them?
Do they work? Or are they bullshit snake oil solely made to profit on unwitting patients?

Worked for me. I took some sort of SSRI for about a year and it helped me a lot. Had therapy at the same time. I do think there is a push to just medicate people and not actually help them

You'll only get anecdotal evidence for this kind of stuff because it's still conclusive on how effective they are.

For me SSRIs help by reducing anxiety, which in turn can lead to a healthier lifestyle but I wouldn't say it directly alleviates depression.

The thing about therapy is that it intuitively sounds stupid and like it shouldn't work (lmao just talking to some normie??) but actually it works well.

also guess what works way better than 1%? hard exercise regularly
